The Auto Insurance Office Manager is responsible for the overall management and direction of the Auto Insurance and will be accountable for the accomplishment of objectives for customer retention, new business sales and overall growth and profitability. In addition, the Manager will recommend and execute goals, plans and budgets and may directly produce new business for the department.
Essential Responsibilities Manage department staff including: hiring, training, career development, performance reviews and performance improvement plans
Provide direction and leadership to the team Monitor sales and retention activity and results for each commercial department employee and communicate performance on a regular basis
Develop sales plan, annual budget, and departmental business plans and monitor and communicate with staff and leadership team as requested
Oversee all department operations including accounting, administrative, budgetary, customer service and sales
Identify, plan and resolve department coverage and workload availability Other projects, reports, or duties as needed Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Prior Auto insurance experience required Auto Insurance sales experience preferred Prior management experience preferred
