Corner Alliance, a dynamic growing consulting firm dedicated to growing its employees, is looking for a Workshop Facilitator and Data Analyst to join our Boulder, CO team. The Workshop Facilitator and Data Analyst will support a high-profile government program working to create the first ever high-speed, nationwide wireless broadband network dedicated to public safety.
The position will be FT (40 hours/week) with benefits starting ASAP and for approx 6 months with the contract recompeting in June 2018. There is possibility (but no guarantee) that this role will be part of the recompeted project and/or that we'd be able to transfer this role onto a new project.
About the Role:
The Workshop Facilitator and Data Analyst will provide project management and meeting/outreach planning support services to a federal government client. Our client, FirstNet’s Office of the Chief Technical Officer (OCTO), is tasked to build, operate and maintain the first high-speed, nationwide wireless broadband network dedicated to public safety in partnership with AT&T. FirstNet will provide a single interoperable platform for emergency and daily public safety communications. This broadband network will fulfill a fundamental need of the public safety community as well as the last remaining recommendation of the 9/11 Commission. FirstNet will bring 21st-century tools to tens of thousands of organizations and individuals that respond to emergencies at the local, state, tribal and federal levels.
Responsibilities include supporting the design, planning, and execution of several stakeholder engagements focused on mobile applications technology. This support will include creating presentation materials, summary reports, knowledge capture, and creating a knowledge database of applications topics sources by this position and project stakeholders.
Support outreach with stakeholders
Conduct targeted data gathering, market research, and community building
Develop use cases that illustrate key public safety needs, and provide compelling rationale to mobile application developers and investors
Coordinate and communicate with a range of experts on related topics.
Engage with public safety on their current state and desired future state use of broadband services, applications, and devices;
Convey to developers the opportunities and specific use cases in need of products and solutions
Actively facilitate the discovery of insights from both users and developers
Synthesize key findings and conclusions
Consistently contribute effort, leadership, and creative thinking to collaboratively solving complex and significant challenges
Attend and facilitate meetings to support the Federal client, following up as needed with participants
5+ years of experience
Advanced skills using MS Excel, Project and PowerPoint, adept at meeting facilitation where the topic is very technical
Work concurrently on multiple complex and sometimes ambiguous problems with thoroughness and accuracy
Advanced written and oral communications skills; fluency in written and spoken English; ability to communicate with technical subject matter experts (SMEs)

Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident to pass required government background investigation
Must be able to go through a quick interview process and start by Jan 22, having cleared through security by then and given (a 2 week) notice to a current employer (if applicable)
Demonstrated ability to create spreadsheets, charts, graphs and tables to organize and convey complex technical information
Ability to attend meetings as required to capture minutes, reproduce whiteboard diagrams, and coordinate support with technical teams
Experience creating visually dynamic diagrams and other visual aids for use in Word documents, Powerpoint presentations, etc.
Experience developing, implementing, and training program staff on easy-to-use and replicable knowledge databases
Have passed a Federal government (preferably at Dept of Commerce) suitability or security clearance before so that ensuring a Jan 22 start date is realistic
