Summer Intern Clinical Operations Jobs Vacancy in Pacira Pharmaceuticals Parsippany Jobs Details:
The Intern will provide support to clinical trial management and clinical operations activities. This internship offers excellent training and mentoring. It is ideal for a student who wishes to explore and/or pursue a career in the Pharmaceutical or Bio-tech industries.
The ideal candidate will be a rising Junior or Senior majoring in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy, or other health-related life science. We seek a highly motivated, energetic and professional student. In turn we offer excellent, hands on experience, mentoring and exposure to a high energy, entrepreneurial, cutting edge, bio-tech organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Intern will be assigned specific projects that will include but not be limited to clinical trial management such as
Clinical study synopsis and protocol development process
Clinical study set up and management
Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and compliance
Clinical development and pipeline exposure
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED required
Minimum two years of college coursework completed at an accredited college or university towards a degree in a Life Science, Nursing or Pharmacy.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proven strong organizational skills.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point.
Ability to research, understand and interpret scientific and medical publications
High attention to detail and ability to work independently, multi-task and manage tight timelines
Basic knowledge of drug development; prior to commencing in June, it will be required that the intern familiarize her/himself with websites for ICH guidelines (http://www.ich.org), the US FDA (www.fda.gov), the European Medicines Agency (www.ema.europa.eu/ema), as well as The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (https://www.acrpnet.org)
Reliable daily transportation to our Parsippany, NJ office
Availability to work during regular business hours (Monday - Thursday 8:30 a.m. and 5: p.m.; Friday 8:30 – 1:00). JUNE 4 – JULY 27, 2018
