This is a professional position that performs independent and complex work in the Fiscal Unit of Children’s Medical Services Managed Care Plan.
DUTIES: This position will maintain spreadsheets on various leasing issues and generate reports as needed. Manage the day-to-day leasing process by ensuring leases are in accordance with applicable rules, statues, and policies. Manage the overall financial activities related to leases including invoicing and tracking building operation costs. Coordinate changes and updates between the area offices and State Leasing Office. Create purchase requisitions and reconciles invoices in MFMP and records payment detail using Excel spreadsheets. Monitors and resolves payment discrepancies in compliance with Prompt Payment Law. Level 2 approver for state purchasing cards. Assist with special projects and initiatives as directed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures; ability to work independently, communicate effectively, both vocally and in writing, ability to analyze and interpret accounting data and ability to utilize problem solving techniques, proficient in Excel. Knowledge of state rules and regulations desired.
