Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG), a rapidly growing management and social sciences consulting firm based in Bethesda MD, is seeking an entry-level Analyst to support its government consulting business. MSG provides consulting services across the federal government in the areas of: 1) Research & Evaluation, 2) Information & Communications, 3) Management & Technology, and 4) Technical Assistance and Training. Our federal clients include the U.S. Departments of Agriculture, Education, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Labor, and the Treasury and the National Science Foundation. This position is to support the firm's Technical Assistance and Training practice line and other areas as required. The Analyst will support Project Managers with project coordination, research, writing, reporting, communication, and administrative activities. The position will also support business development efforts across the firm.
Bachelor's degree in English, History, International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Public Policy, Statistics, or a related field
Strong writing, analytical, and research skills
Superior skills in working with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Strong organizational, multitasking, and attention to details skills
At least one year similar/relevant work experience
Past experience interning or working for a federal contractor or government agency is a plus
Knowledge of statistics a plus
Support project managers on consulting engagements with technical, logistics, and administrative tasks including, but not limited to:
Perform primary and secondary research
Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data
Manage logistics associated with project meetings and events
Prepare and format deliverables
Input data and carefully check for accuracy
Arrange and manage webinars and other communication activities
Run standardized reports for project management
Communicate project plans and details to clients and relevant stakeholders
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
Support the development of capability statements, proposals, and presentations for potential new projects
Perform various administrative duties when needed
