The FT Keyholder supports operational aspects of their shop in order to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability. The FT Keyholder supports the management team in establishing and maintaining high sales performance and customer service. The FT Keyholder supports the management team’s performance through continual feedback, training and development. The FT Keyholder supports the maintenance of excellent visual presentations, inventory management, facility maintenance and shop operations standards. He / she will demonstrate and uphold the values and vision of the company.
Key Job Accountabilities:
Drives the Business

  • Monitors store and staff performance closely
  • Understands and demonstrates how to drive the shop business during assigned work shifts
  • Analyzes and understands the causes of sales trends
  • Makes plans to drive sales and profitability and adapts them where necessary
  • Initiates change and communicates change messages positively
  • Identifies opportunities and problems and acts quickly to address them
  • Gives constructive feedback to the business on performance of sales initiatives
  • Understands competitor activity and implications for the store
  • Proactively identifies creative new approaches to increase sales and profitability
Leads the Store Team

  • Clarifies expectations and gives ongoing constructive feedback
  • Delegates appropriately, giving responsibility and development opportunities
  • Adapts leadership style to get the best out of different team members
  • Recognizes and rewards good performance
  • Builds capability of the team through coaching and encouraging learning from others
  • Ensures all team members have the knowledge and skills required to successfully carry out their work
  • Recruits the right employee profiles for the store team

Retail Operations
  • Understands and supports the store staff on current and future policies and procedures for the POS and intranet

  • Contributes to and assists in the completion of the weekly business recap as needed
  • Protects company assets through following proper procedures and providing highest levels of customer service
  • Able to complete required paperwork and reports timely and accurately
  • Supports management team in shop adhering to shop audit standards
  • Understands and supports the shop’s business performance
  • Supports use of all training and development materials
  • Ensures that all Safety, Health and Environment policies and procedures are adhered to and issues/ occurrences are reported in a timely manner
  • Support management in maintaining clean and safe stockroom standards
  • Ensures shipment processing is safe and accurate
  • Processes all inventory handling accurately
  • Support management team in execution of shop appearance guidelines and promotional events
  • Provides professional phone etiquette to create, maintain and enhance client relationships
