Social Media Manager - San Antonio, TX

Description:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to join the Black Rifle Coffee Company marketing team while managing day-to-day activities related to digital and social media planning, including strategy, recommending buys and placements, budget monitoring, executing and evaluating/reporting the performance of media campaigns. You will manage quality control and accuracy of social media posts ensuring the flow of deliverables are maintained related to digital and social media.

Role and Responsibilities:
Maintain various social media channels on behalf of the Company, including content creation, posting, monitoring, and moderation

Make recommendations for advertising individual posts and for paid social campaigns

Assess analytical data associated with website traffic, social media engagement, and review site activities to assess strategy efficiency

Create reports on social media activities on an ad hoc, weekly, and monthly basis.

Work with social media team to assess positive and negative online mentions and reviews and provide guidance on if/how/when to respond.

Work with social media team to curate user-generated content and incorporate that content into our social media channels

Work with social media team and other internal teams (sales, marketing, etc) to create digital campaigns that integrate with traditional media and the organization's larger promotional strategies.

Work with VP to evaluate and update brand guidelines for social media

Stay current on industry news and developments so as to keep social channels fresh, maintain design standards, and adhere to channel regulations and best practices

Communicate and resolve team challenges and complaints with management

Be a true ambassador through engagement, reliance and maintaining a persuasive attitude with clients, team members and other key players

Demonstrate a stellar work ethic by successfully setting the pace and collaborating with others

Lead with innovative and forward thinking and proactively incorporating new ideas and/or emerging platforms

Develop a structured process for paid content tagging, tracking and analysis

Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge of social media, scheduling publishing, optimizing, and reporting analytics tools

Strong writing skills – the ability to capture the voice of a brand and execute across multiple platforms

Proficient in Google Adwords, Bing, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager (Certifications preferred)

Proficient Facebook/Instagram/Twitter, other social media platforms (Certifications preferred)

Experience in optimizing landing pages

Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

Experience in setting up and optimizing paid social media campaigns and social media posts and engagement

Numbers focused and highly detail oriented

Proficient in MS Office Suite

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

3+ years of social media and/or management experience

Experience with editing, content creation, or marketing

Knowledge and/or experience with the outdoors or coffee space is highly preferred
