Nexamp is looking for an IT Help Desk Technician to be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This position would respond to queries, isolate problems, determine solutions, document, and implement fixes.

Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone, via email, or web portal.
Perform both hands on and remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and asking pertinent questions.
Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
Walk the employee through the problem-solving process.
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
Record events and problems and their resolution.
Follow-up and update customer status and information.
Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team.
Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, hands-on, results-oriented and a team player. Key qualifications as follows:
Microsoft experience including: Office 365 (especially SharePoint, Teams, and collaboration tools), Windows 10, and working within an Active Directory Domain.
Ability to diagnose and resolve basic workstation technical issues.
Bonus experience: Freshservice, OS X, telephony configuration, Salesforce, NetSuite.
Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills.
Customer-oriented and cool-tempered.
BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field (or equivalent work experience).
Authorized to work in the United States.
