Our clients include integrated oil companies, major mining multinationals, as well as several of the world's largest global electric utilities and power-generation firms. In addition, we work closely with the Global Markets group by supporting energy and commodity trading and sector analysis/portfolio management groups within financial institutions. We also collaborate with the other client services teams on a variety of strategic research projects and thematic workshops.
Job Related Activities
Will be required to provide basic hand tools(Specialty tools will be provided)
This is not a sit at a desk job.
The majority of your time will be in small office environments but other times may include; factory/manufacturing facilities, attics, basements, steam tunnels, and outside plant.
The position requires good vision with the ability to see and read color codes, service manuals, and floor plans.
This position requires lifting weights up to fifty (50) pounds, frequent stooping, kneeling, bending, climbing up & down ladders, use of hand tools, and working around electrical equipment.
Typical hours of operation are 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m, Monday through Friday.
Some installations and service work may require working outside normal business hours including overtime.
Travel is normally within the state and normally during normal business hours.
Must have experience with installing, programming, and servicing business telephone systems (preferably Vertical/Comdial, Samsung, Avaya Partner, and Nortel Norstar).
Must have experience with installing, programming, and servicing voice mail systems (preferably Key Voice/Comdial).
Must have the ability to work independently or as a team player/leader and be able to change directions at moment notice with a smile in your voice.
Structured cable installation and service experience including Cat3, Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optics.
Must have the ability and aptitude to learn new technology as it evolves.
Must be willing to get your hands dirty, work hard & smart.
Common sense, Neat professional work standards, Good Ethical standards,
Ability to complete assignment in a timely manner are an absolute must.
