Natural Resources Manager Iii Opt Jobs Vacancy in State Illinois Jobs Details:
Subject to the Administrator of the Division of Wildlife Resources, provides specialized and advanced professional counseling on a statewide basis as the Wildlife Operations Program Manager. As designated by the Division Administrator, serves as the lead administrator to plan, execute, control and evaluate all statewide wildlife research and management programs and conduct unique scientific investigations regarding the development of new and improved conservation management practices and programs for the Department. Coordinates operational, planning, administrative and legislative activities with the Division.
Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of a Bachelor's degree in wildlife resource management or in a directly related biological science. Requires six years of progressively responsible professional experience in wildlife resource management including two years of professional supervisory experience as would be required as a statewide conservation program administrator. Requires thorough knowledge of management theory, principles and practices applicable to natural resource management.
Work Hours & Location/Agency Contact:
Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, 1- hour lunch, Saturday & Sunday off
