Data Clerk Jobs Vacancy in Foodshare Jobs Details:
Foodshare seeks a Data Clerk to provide data entry and clerical support to Foodshare’s Finance and
Administration Department. Responsibilities include intake of donations and constituent data entry, maintenance of the
donor records, processing donation acknowledgments and mailings. The qualified candidate will also provide support
with other projects as needed. This is an hourly position reporting directly to the Database Manager.
Provide data entry of all cash, check, in-kinds, stock, barter bucks, and lockbox donations within prescribed time
Collaborate with the Finance and Administration department to ensure that in-kinds, stock, barter bucks, lockbox,
cash, and check donations reconcile accordingly.
Complete data entry and basic maintenance of constituent records. Assist team with routine database
Perform mail merges and generate/assemble tribute notecards and donation acknowledgements for all monetary
and in-kind donations.
Ensure matching gift forms and related documentation are processed in a timely manner and matching gift
account information is up to date in the database.
Provide data entry support to the Giving Department with NCOA results and update records for returned mail.
Provide customer service to donors through phone and mail communications, including recording credit card
donations over the phone.
Provide back-up and vacation coverage to the Database Assistant.
Education and Experience:
Associates degree in office management or related discipline.
A minimum of two years of related work experience in an office environment and working with volunteers
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including the ability to perform mail merge functions. Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work effectively with volunteers and staff at all levels.
Excellent organizational skills. Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task with high level of accuracy.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the proven ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals and groups in
a multicultural environment.
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
This is a full-time hourly position generally working Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm.
