Position Summary
The Manager, Enterprise Applications Support will be responsible to manage a team of technical, functional business analysts and support personnel who are focused on supporting mission critical business applications and helping IT applications team to meet SLAs for clients and internal business users. The individual will manage IT applications projects and oversee day-to-day activities of the team, he or she will work closely with business and coordinate support activities of enterprise and corporate applications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible to maintain, support enterprise applications including troubleshoot issues, upgrades, mandatory application patches and releases
  • Ensure high availability and system performance of the users
  • Conducts reviews and diagnostic investigations of system issues, errors and provide efficient and best solutions
  • Design and implement Business continuity plan for all critical systems and perform frequent testing of BCP with business users
  • Constantly review and assess the IT security aspects of applications including vulnerability assessments, and recommended resolutions
  • Ensure consistent, quality and comprehensive support to business users in regard to resolving system related issues
  • Close all calls related to reported incidents as per the business SLA, follow ups with vendor and ensure minimal escalations to deliver on quality service
  • Be available on call to support all after hours reported issues that would affect service
  • Participate in project implementations as necessary
  • Ensure all user related changes are implemented within agreed SLAs
  • Enforce IT applications support and change management control process & policies across the support teams and business users
  • Manage 3rd party vendor support consultants and daily administrative tasks by reviewing the error logs, system issues and address user related issues
  • Provide a high quality customer support and services to Rimini’s clients, business users
  • Mentor, and lead team of application analysts and developers

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

Minimal Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
Experience
  • Minimum 5+ Years of experience in managing enterprise applications support and services preferably with IT industry
Skills
  • 5+ years of hands on experience of applications such as Microsoft Dynamics AX, SharePoint, and other Microsoft technology based systems
  • 5+ years of hands on experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, SF based apps, Microsoft CRM, etc.
  • 3+ years of managing direct reports within a corporate IT environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectively
  • Solid understanding of process and how it impacts business operations efficiency and project success
  • Proven ability to direct and influence other senior staff / executives outside the direct line management structure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent creative problem solving skills
  • Excellent documentation and training skills
Desired Qualifications
  • Professional certifications related to management, leadership, and job responsibilities
  • Working knowledge and Technology experience including: Microsoft Dynamics AX, Salesforce, SharePoint and other enterprise applications
