Monte Nido & Affiliates, one of the leading treatmentcenters for eating and exercise disorders in the nation, is seeking a full-time(40 hours per week, benefits-eligible) Facilities Coordinator for its New Yorklocations. This position will be responsible for the maintenance atour sites in Westchester County and Manhattan.
Job responsibilities may include the following: Routinely inspect the properties andmonitor maintenance logs to determine any required maintenance or repairs Perform maintenance and repairs asnecessary. Assist in coordinating and maintainingall facility health and safety standards Assist in coordinating emergencyresponse programs and services Assist in maintaining facilities inaccordance with applicable Joint Commission standards, local and stateregulating bodies, and/or other regulating and accreditation organizations,correct any deficiencies where possible, and inform Program Administrator ofsuch deficiencies Oversee all outside building contractorsincluding maintenance, landscaping, snow plowing, and custodial services. Review and resolve facility repairand maintenance requests, communicating with and/or involve relevant parties asneeded Coordinate special constructionprojects as directed by Program Administrator Coordinate the ongoing maintenanceof company fleet vehicles
Applicants must beable to travel between all Westchester County and Manhattan facilities. Prior experience infacility operations is preferred Experience in either aresidential or hospital eating disorder treatment facility, and knowledge ofJoint Commission behavioral health guidelines and practices are also preferredbut not required.
