Job Details:

The purpose of the E-commerce Business Development Manager is to sell and negotiate contracts with prospective new customers for Global Payments.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, qualify and sell to potential customers and investigate selling opportunities within Card Not Present markets.
  • Write and present annual Business Development Plans consistent with overall Sales Dept. strategies and objectives.
  • Provide recommendations and strategic analysis to management, related to bank card opportunities.
  • Work closely with Relationship Management team to ensure newly acquired clients are smoothly integrated into the appropriate Relationship Manger’s Portfolio
  • Ensure a full understanding and knowledge of all Global Payments Bankcard Services and competitive bank provided products/services to assist prospective clients in making fully informed decisions about affected areas of their business.
  • Responsible for development/presentation (both written and verbal communication) of proposals/RFP.
  • Manage and complete all activities relating to internal planning and control.
  • Regularly and effectively communicate prospect status within sales cycle, using Sales Force
  • Analyze prospect list and recommend appropriate solutions and negotiate profitable pricing
  • Monitor progress to plan as required, and prepare contingency plans to ensure objectives are satisfied.
  • Provide assistance and expertise to all members of sales and/or regional team and other affected personnel.
  • Maintain acceptable spread or profit margin on services
  • Develop and close new business opportunities with merchants $10M and up
  • Develop / maintain a strong prospect pipeline
  • Prospect targeted new account list
  • Negotiate contracts to win new business

Required Qualifications:

  • University education, preferably with focus on Business, Sales or Marketing
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Highly organized, focused individual who excels in relationship building, which is critical to the success of this position.
  • Professional, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills is a must to succeed in this role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the payment processing industry is valued
  • Working knowledge of Web based interfaces is beneficial

Le titulaire du poste aura comme tâches de conclure et de négocier des contrats avec de nouveaux clients éventuels de Global Payments, indépendants ou du marché intermédiaire.

Responsabilités essentielles:

  • Trouver des clients éventuels, déterminer leur admissibilité, leur vendre des services et rechercher les occasions de vente au sein des marchés existants de même qu’au sein de nouveaux marchés.
  • Élaborer et présenter des plans d’expansion des affaires s’harmonisant avec les stratégies et les objectifs généraux du Service des ventes.
  • Fournir des recommandations et des analyses stratégiques à la direction en ce qui a trait aux occasions relatives aux cartes bancaires.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec l’équipe de gestion des relations pour s’assurer de l’intégration sans heurts des nouveaux clients au portefeuille du directeur relationnel approprié.
  • Comprendre et connaître tous les services de cartes bancaires de Global Payments et les produits et services des banques concurrentes afin de pouvoir aider les clients éventuels à prendre des décisions éclairées pour les secteurs concernés de leur entreprise.
  • Élaborer et présenter les propositions et les demandes de proposition (communication écrite et orale).
  • Gérer et effectuer toutes les tâches relatives à la planification et aux contrôles internes.
  • Faire part régulièrement et efficacement de l’état de la liste des clients éventuels au cours du cycle de ventes.
  • Analyser la liste des clients éventuels, recommander les solutions appropriées et négocier une tarification rentable.
  • Faire le suivi de la progression du plan, au besoin, et préparer des plans d’urgence afin de s’assurer que les objectifs sont atteints.
  • Fournir assistance et expertise à tous les membres des équipes de ventes ou des équipes régionales et à tout le personnel concerné.
  • Maintenir un écart ou une marge bénéficiaire acceptable pour les services.
  • Développer et conclure de nouvelles occasions d’affaires avec les petits marchands.
  • Développer et maintenir un solide apport de clients éventuels.
  • Prospecter la liste de nouveaux comptes ciblés.
  • Négocier des contrats afin de faire affaire avec de nouvelles entreprises.

Qualifications requises:

  • Diplôme d’études universitaires, de préférence avec une concentration dans les affaires, les ventes ou le marketing.
  • Solides aptitudes à la communication et à la négociation; capacité d’effectuer des tâches multiples et de travailler de manière autonome.
  • Bon sens de l’organisation et de l’établissement de relations, essentiels pour occuper ce poste.
  • Professionnalisme, sens de l’initiative et solides aptitudes aux relations interpersonnelles nécessaires pour occuper ce poste.

Qualifications souhaitables:

  • Expérience dans le secteur du traitement des paiements un atout.
  • Connaissance pratique des interfaces Web un atout.
