As a Administrative Assistant, you will have the following responsibilities:

1. Complete various administrative processes including travel preparation and reimbursement documentation, timekeeping record management, and human resources activities.

2. Adhere to guidance and rules and regulations pertaining to human resources, financial and/or budgetary actions.

3. Performs procurement administrative functions for the organization.

4. Informs the supervisor of potential controversial findings, issues, or problems with widespread impact.

In order to qualify for Administrative Assistant, 0341, at GS


5/7, you must meet the following:
Basic Requirements for Administrative Assistant, GS-05:
You must possess 3 years of general experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-04 in the Federal service that include performing general administrative duties in support of personnel functions or procurement and budgeting functions.


4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree

Basic Requirements for Administrative Assistant, GS-07:
You must possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 in the Federal service, that includes preparing budget analysis, or performing procurement and budgetary functions or preparing personnel actions AND providing administrative support of an organization.


Have 1 full year of graduate level education. (One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent one year of full-time study. If that number cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours will satisfy an academic year of graduate study. You must submit transcripts at time of application submission).


Superior Academic Achievement


Foreign Education:
