Division - Electrical/Electronic Architecture
E/EA provides complete design of the vehicle’s electrical architecture, including connectors, wiring assemblies and harnesses, electrical centers, hybrid high voltage and safety distribution systems. Our Hybrid portfolio enables high voltage power and electronics backbones that support increased vehicle content and electrification, reducing emissions and higher fuel economy through weight savings. This position will reinforce our Aptiv Connection Systems team which develops technologies such as charging cord sets that powers electric vehicles, high speed cable assemblies that enables autonomous driving technology and wireless data connectivity solutions that connect your car to the world. This is $3.0 billion business, with 28 manufacturing sites across the globe and with a team of more than 17,000 members.
This role reports directly to the Connection Systems Global Quality Director and, depending on an individual’s current location, would be based at one of our main centers – Juarez or Saltillo in Mexico, Troy or Auburn Hills in the US, Guyancourt in France, Wuppertal in Germany, Krakow in Poland or Shanghai in China.
You will take full ownership of the development of our Enterprise Operating System (EOS) for our global business, and you will focus on all the areas around this system to assure excellence, compliance and process improvement. You’ll be responsible to escalate all gaps and drive closure.
You’ll drive continuous improvement of the EOS.
You’ll develop and maintain all the EOS documentation systems and standards.
You will support and coach other EOS owners and champions in other functional areas in their development of OS procedures as needed.
You’ll support the DCS teams with EOS related activities and awareness as needed and develop training modules around EOS.
You’ll lead internal EOS audit and manage interface to external 3rd party certification bodies.
Bachelor's Degree Engineering or Business.
ISO/TS Certified Internal Auditor and/or ISO/TS Master Trainer.
AIAG Core Tool Trainer (PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
3+ years of project/program/quality system/training experience.
Master's Degree in Engineering or Business.
Understanding of automotive industry standards, certification and customer requirements.
Proven leader and experience working with senior cross functional management to align strategies.
An understanding that communicating, collaborating, thinking strategically, having bias for action, business candor and customer & market focus are requirements to achieve success at Aptiv.
