Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a an individual to join an innovative team that supports our researchers in the clean energy mission, upholds the principles of a strong safety culture and enables researchers to excellence by developing state-of -the-art tools. The individual will interface with researchers and EES&T management to ensure research and operational excellence goals are achieved.
The person in this role is responsible for effectively communicating and implementing the vision of EES&T research and operational excellence. The individual will manage, analyze and resolve concerns with organizational interfaces, services, and resources to enable research and development activities.
The individual will function as a research excellence and operations analyst responsible for managing multiple tasks and/or special projects. Plan, prepare, and deliver presentations, documents, and electronic tools to enhance understanding of research and operational excellence objectives to the EES&T R&D community. The individual is responsible for developing and delivering solutions while ensuring high quality products are delivered in a defined/agreed time frame.
The individual will serve to enable research excellence in the life-cycle of Conduct of Research principles, policies, and procedures.
The individual will support the Contractor Assurance Analyst to ensure events are evaluated and reported in a timely manner; serve as the Incident Investigation Lead, Price Anderson Amendment Act Lead (PAAA) and the Noncompliance Tracking System Compliance Officer.
BS degree in scientific discipline plus 4 years relevant experience or an advanced degree in scientific discipline plus 2 years relevant experience
Special Requirements and/or Training:
Individuals with minimum of a Bachelor of Science in a scientific discipline and prior hands-on research and development experience are strongly preferred.
Must have the following:
--Hands-on R&D experience in a laboratory setting
--Strong analytical and problem solving skills
--Ability to manage multiple projects to completion
--Ability to function well on dynamic teams
--Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
