VP of Enterprise Sales – Financial Services
We are currently seeking an experienced VP of Enterprise Sales – Financial Services who is interested in transforming how people work, live and connect. You must be sharp, agile and energized. This position is responsible for the executing on the company s annual revenue goals generated via Direct and Partner Sales of on demand software solutions to Banks and Non Bank Financial Service providers in North America. This is a new position whereby the current growth situation has need for additional resources. The VP of Enterprise Sales – Financial Services will report to the Chief Revenue Officer. The ideal candidate is based in the Mid-Atlantic region (Baltimore is HQ with a field office in Philadelphia).
Description and Desired Skills and Experience
The primary focus of an eOriginal VP of Enterprise Sales – Financial Services i s to plan, manage and develop a team of Enterprise Account Executives and to achieve assigned company revenue goals.
Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the Overall Sales Division. Develops working relationships with legal, professional services, customer support, lead generation and marketing managers to develop joint plans. Develops and executes strategic plans utilizing resources from various marketing and sales functions to maximize revenue. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and provides hiring recommendations to senior management. Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction. Conducts sales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis.
Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet business needs. Working knowledge of an Enterprise Account Based Selling methodology and appropriate metrics are important. Experience and understanding of Enterprise and/or Fintech Software products and services is a necessity and the ability to lead the sales team in all areas of the sales cycle is imperative.
Team Execution Record all customer/prospect related activities in the eOriginal CRM (SalesForce) system.

Ability to negotiate price, incentives, compelling events, concessions and terms and conditions. Strong quantitative, analytical, and conflict resolution ability. Work with the Executive team, other sales management, product management, pre-sales and delivery teams to coordinate business and technical success and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of ethical business practices.
Required Experience and Skills:
5 - 10 years of Enterprise sales management experience, with a proven track record:
Selling into Financial Services
Achievement and stability
Metrics driven team
Preferably in information technology solutions
and a SaaS or subscription based model also a plus
Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal, written, and listening), courteous, well-spoken and polished
Experience selling software products that are on-demand and repeatable in nature
Competent in multi-tasking
Drive, conscientiousness and perseverance to keep team on task
Able to connect business needs to solutions
Team oriented with ability to succeed in entrepreneurial environment
Bachelor s degree, preferably in Business, Finance or Computer Science
Supplemental relevant education such as sales training programs and methodologies
