AREVA Med, LLC is seeking a
for our Plano, TX location. The Chemist will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and performing experiments in support of the development efforts for the company.
Plan and conduct reactions and manage activities in the production lab.
Gather analytical data and record all results.
Work closely with Director of Production to coordinate inventory with production needs.
Take initiative for improving process chemistry, and new product development.
Document all production activities in detail to ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines.
Assist in production campaigns and quality system maintenance.
Conduct work in compliance with Macrocyclics’ safety regulations.
Become familiar with technical aspects of product applications.
Help maintain analytical instrumentation.
Perform routine QC testing.
Prepare internal product documentation.
Perform analytical testing on final products
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this position.
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biological, Physical or Applied Science plus 0-2 years of related work experience in organic synthesis.
fundamental concepts, practices and procedures in a particular field of scientific specialization.
Familiarity with general peptide chemistry.
General knowledge of analytical chemistry methods (chromatography, spectroscopy).
Good verbal and written communication skills are also a necessity.
Ability to lift 50 pounds is required for some of the laboratory equipment.
