Altria Client Services' role is to provide high quality services to the Altria family of companies. We are currently seeking qualified Financial Analyst to join our Finance organization in Richmond, VA. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for performing functional business assignments to include financial accounting and analysis, management cost accounting and special projects.
Specific accountabilities may include :
General accounting responsibilities including journal entries, reconciliations, financial statement compilation and reporting
Management cost accounting including development of standard costs
Compiling, analyzing, and recording financial information and proactively identifying and communicating risks and opportunities
Performing functional business case analysis and identifying potential solutions with management direction
Interacting with internal and external parties regarding financial matters
Participating in cross functional projects
/qualifications include :
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA candidate preferred)
Entry level up to three years of business experience with a focus on accounting, financial and or management reporting, financial analysis or financial controls is preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
Must be able to prepare and deliver presentations and various analyses for departmental management in a timely and professional manner
Demonstrated knowledge of financial and office software (Microsoft Office Products, SAP and Hyperion HFM desired)
