Medical Office Assistant Jobs Vacancy in Family Dentistry Washington Jobs Details:
Grand Opening March 2018
W 8am - 5pm Alt F 9am - 4pm
TH 8am - 5pm Every Sat 9am - 1pm
Controls the flow of patients in and out of the office.
Performs necessary registration functions to include insurance verifications, updating demographic information, and emergency contact information.
Serves as both a receptionist and liaison between patients, teammates, and staff.
Reviews all client related forms for accuracy and completeness of information, assisting the patient where necessary.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Maintains files and/or patient database.
Schedules appointments, records information, and effectively communicates appointment schedule to patient.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities and Duties
Must be a Positive, Fast Learner, Self Starter, and Motivated with a Strong customer service background.
Knowledge of medical/Dental terminology preferred and Insurance Verification a plus.
Moderate knowledge of health insurance plans such as Dental Benefits and Medicaid preferred.
Good oral, written, and telephone communication skills; Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
Ability to work independently or in a team oriented environment and interrelate well with individuals with diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds and needs.
Moderate working knowledge of computers.
Typing 40 WPM preferred.
Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 year of experience in an a medical office setting.
Job Type: Part-time
