Administrative Support Specialist Jobs Vacancy in District Community Services Board Jobs Details:

District 19 Community Services Board is seeking a part-time (21-25 hrs per week ) Administrative Support Specialist II for the Petersburg SUD clinic. Essential duties of this position include: receptionist duties in a courteous and professional manner; filing, receiving and following phone calls, data input, write correspondence, verify eligibility of benefits, and financials; ensure consumer confidentiality, create and maintain statistical data, order and maintain office supplies.

Requirements: (Experience, Essential Education, and Skills Needed):

Successful applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent; experience with multi-line telephones; at least 2years of experience in mental health or medical setting; knowledge of medical or behavioral health reimbursement, experience in data entry/typing; computer experience with Microsoft word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications / Other Relevant Job Information:

A certificate in office management or an associate degree in business .

Position is hourly, with no benefits. This is a grade 202 position. Hourly rate minimum is $14.56

Starting salary for new employees will be based on the prospective employee's knowledge, skills and abilities directly relating to the position's duties. Current or most recent verified salary will also be taken into consideration prior to making an offer of employment. Starting salaries for new employees will be based on the availability of funding within the current budget.

Position requires pre-employment extensive background check and drug screening, to include a driver's license report if applicable.
