Function as a staff physician in the Department of Neurology. Duties at KU will involve (providing clinical care and teaching ) in the Neurology clinics, making hospital rounds, teaching medical students and neurology residents, and fellows.Required Qualifications
MD or foreign degree equivalent to an MD. Fellowship training in a General Neurology, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromuscular Diseases or vascular neurology.
Eligible for Kansas medical license. Background check required
Good written and oral communication skills.Environment Office Physical Requirements Medium Probation Status

Be part of the Neurology program based on the sub-specialty at the medical school
Supervise neurology residents. This will include supervision of residents in the hospital wards, and in the general neurology clinic. Generally, resident continuity clinic supervision is once a month.
Teach medical students on the wards and in clinic, and provide occasional lectures to medical students. Pursue scholarly activity in the areas of general neurology disease.
See patients in the outpatient neurology clinic.
Other duties as assigned.
