Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY: Capable and responsible for planning, overseeing, developing, and managing the integration of all Army Enterprise Network (AEN) Domain programs, and support processes for Army Information Technology (IT) PfM and Quality Management to include the development of Cross Domain integration and proposal analyses, metrics and measures, performance management and assessment, Mission Area Analysis. Location is Washington, DC and Fort Belvoir, VA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide analytic support and perform Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) staff analysis while supporting the development of original reports, information papers, briefings, and memorandums for senior executive leaders. Develop documentation, conduct studies, and translate complex and technical information into easily understood, useable, and relevant information for executive/senior decision makers and strategic planners. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to Commands, CIO/G-6 Directors, Domain Managers, and Mission Areas for existing, planned, and other technological initiatives ensuring staff actions are disseminated, tracked, coordinated and available. Develop executable plans, serve as the focal point for process implementation, issue resolution, progress documentation and management providing and expert perspective to complementary initiatives within the CIO/G-6, as well as to all forums related to IT. Responsible for providing support to the Network Capacity, NetOps and Security and Enterprise Services Domains and Army Enterprise Network portfolio management process, and the development and sustainment of performance metrics and measures within that domain. Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in coordinating support for APMS and PROBE training and operational support, and act as resident SMEs for core teams to determine network capability gaps, overlaps, and gap prioritization. Be knowledgeable of Army Enterprise Network Domains and their tasks such as capability set implementation, initiative establishment, IT requirements determination and evaluation, Army wide strategy development, and execution of Army processes required to bring conceptual and future technologies to realization.
Required Skills/Education/Experience - Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business-related field and 7-9 years of strategic planning and analytical experience in Information Technology.Must have knowledge in Operation Execution Orders and IT Portfolio domains. Level of Security Clearance – P ossess a SECRET security clearance IAW DD Form 254, Contract Security Classification Specification, and must maintain such clearance for the life of the contract. Must possess good communication skills and be comfortable working in a team environment, yet capable of working independently with a minimum of supervision.
