Houston Bike Share is looking for an outgoing, people-oriented, part-time Customer Service Rep to work an AM shift and provide excellent customer service to our valued riders and members. This role will report to the Executive Director and support staff projects alongside the Director of Operations, Operations team, Office Manager and the Marketing and Communications Manager.
The Houston Bike Share Customer Service Rep is the first point of contact in responding to daily inquiries and assisting all Houston BCycle prospective and current customers and members with billing, along with tech and user interface issues related to checking out a bike or signing up for membership. The Customer Service Rep should be able to multitask, follow procedures, and carry out various daily and weekly tasks along with other duties as assigned.
❖ Answer all incoming phone calls.
❖ Respond to all voicemails and emails in timely manner.
❖ Initiate weekly reports to be sent out to The Houston Police Department in our collaborative Stolen Bicycle Recovery Effort.
❖ Initiate weekly and daily reports.
❖ Prepare and ship weekly membership packet mail-outs.
❖ Cooperate with Bike Techs and Field Techs regarding bikes and kiosk tech issues.
❖ Initiate and complete a weekly Customer Service Summary reports along with other required reports to be submitted to Houston BCycle's Executive Director.
❖ Other duties and tasks as assigned.
