Volunteer Membership Coordinator (Development Office- Redwood City)

Position Summary

The Gorilla Foundation is seeking volunteers to assist with membership management at our development office. This will include fulfillment of mail, email,and phone correspondence. This position is to assist in transmitting Koko’s legacy as an ambassador for her species.

Responsibilities

 Prepare correspondence and promotional materials for members

 Providing phone and email support and addressing member concerns

 Fulfillment of orders placed on our online store: koko.org/kokomart

 Organizing office spaces and files

 Receiving inventory

 Help is multimedia (photo and video selection) and social media postings(Facebook, Twitter & Koko.org)

Skills

 Strong interest in the work and mission of The Gorilla Foundation

 Meticulous organizational skills

 Strong customer service skills

 Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, email

 Reliability

Time Frame

Looking for a commitment of 4-6 hours a week.
