Assess the controls vendors have in place to protect Navy Federal’s Confidential information (e.g. member and employee personally identifiable information) while in their possession. • Perform technical management of Data Loss Prevention tools. Create and maintain Data Loss Prevention policies.
Monitor metrics to demonstrate decreased data loss risk.• Assist in the creation and enforcement of Information Security policies and standards.• Assist in the development of security awareness training materials for the members and/or employees of the credit union.• Review requests submitted to team from across the credit union asking for exceptions to Information Security policies and standards.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, information systems, or related field• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills including the preparation and presentation of results• Experience working directly with Data Loss Prevention tools including the creation and maintenance of policies that will detect and/or prevent the loss of data from Navy Federal.• Extensive experience in performing Information Security risk assessments focusing on the identification of threats and evaluation of controls in place to mitigate the threats.• Knowledge of NCUA and FFIEC regulations, GLBA, PCI and other information security requirements and frameworks• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of best practices, trends related to information security• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Effective planning and organizational skillsDesired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Advanced college degree in information security, cyber security, information technology, etc.* Professional certification (CISSP, CISM, CRISC) or a reasonable expectation to obtain the certificationHours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Equal Employment Opportunity Navy Federal values, celebrates, and enacts diversity in the workplace.
