    Summary

    The foundation for success of the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) mission is our people.     Responsibilities

    • Count change fund, set up cash drawers, and verify the accuracy of each drawer.
    • Turn on the master cash control processor and set up the office terminal(s) for the day's business.
    • Issue change to cashiers.
    • Operate cash register when needed.
    • Check cash register drawers to prevent extensive fund accumulation.
    • Bag and seal cash and checks, make up change list for secure pick up and deposit.

    Qualifications

    To qualify for this position, applicants must possess one year general experience OR two years above high school OR a qualifying combination of experience and education by the closing date of this announcement.General experience is described as progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of a Teller.

    Appropriate education may be substituted for or combined with experience.
