QualificationsIn order to qualify for this position at the GS-14 grade level, you must meet both specialized experience AND you must have IT related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. AND in addition to meeting the basic competencies above, you must also meet the specialized experience as defined below.
Specialized Experience : To be eligible at the GS-14 you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in Federal Service. Specialized experience is defines as: applying analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of new and improved information systems to meet the business requirements of customer organizations; consulting with customers to identify and specify requirements; defining systems scope and objectives; ensuring the integration of all systems components; e.g., procedures, databases, policies, software, and hardware; writing, debugging, and maintaining code; and determining and designing applications architecture.
Selective Placement Factor : A selective placement factor is determined to be essential for successful performance in this position. Those candidates who do not meet the following selective placement factor will be rated "not qualified" for this position.
You must have experience administering SQL (Structured Query Language) server and developing applications using VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).
Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies. If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for assisting the Director of the Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA) and the Attorney General's Advisory Committee (AGAC) in formulating a budget submission for the entire United States Attorneys organization. The incumbent will serve as the senior Internal Systems Information Technology expert and principal advisor for the Financial Systems Support Group (FSSG) which is the United States Attorneys Offices (USAOs) point-of-contact for multiple automated financial and accounting systems.
