Applying urban economic theory and spatial modeling technique to analyze geographic/demographic and financial data Estimating statistical relationships between locational attributes and specific spatial patterns in various metropolitan areas Conducting complex theoretical and empirical research on measurements of investment/credit risk in commercial real estate and other related financial assets Present research findings to technical and non-technical audiences internally Master’s or Ph.D. in demography, geography, population research, real estate, regional studies, transportation, urban planning, or a closely related field Extensive experience with large datasets especially related to geographic information Expert-level proficiency with spatial analysis and GIS tools such as ArcGIS Proficiency with statistical analysis and programming tools such as R, SAS, or Matlab Knowledge in economic and/or financial modeling is a plus Willingness to learn advanced quantitative methods in real estate and finance Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills You will be part of the Commercial Real Estate Team in Research
