Marketing And Communications Coordinator Jobs Vacancy in Lifelong Aids Alliance Seattle Jobs Details:

Lifelong's mission is to empower people living with or at risk of HIV/AIDS and/or other chronic conditions to lead healthier lives.

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Lifelong will support efforts to strategically develop and disseminate Lifelong’s mission as well as promote its visibility through various communication platforms. In this role, you will invest significant time executing marketing strategies and designing and translating information into digestible content for key stakeholders. Applicants should be self-driven, goal oriented, and will strengthen Lifelong’s mission and impact in the field by helping us find new and creative ways to tell our story. This position will report directly to the Director of Development. This is a fulltime, exempt, non-union, regular position.


CORE RESPONSIBILITES:

Content creation & storytelling: Through graphics, video, and written word, create, develop, and manage compelling content for the Lifelong audience.


Social media management: Curate content for each of our social media channels with content to inform, engage, and inspire the community and donor base. Leverage analytics tools to provide campaign insights to inform development efforts and community evolution. Drive community/supporter engagement through engagement/response, relationship building, earned engagement.


Marketing Campaigns: Write talking points, press releases, and other promotional materials to increase awareness of Lifelong’s programs and mission. Provides support on all marketing programs, such as building assets for donor acknowledgement, organizational milestones & achievements, and individual giving campaigns. This also includes building web pages on Squarespace and managing appropriate partnerships.


Newsletter and email copywriting: Draft communications that go out to Lifelong’s mass audience, targeted audiences, and donors. Ability to write very clearly, with impeccable grammar, in Lifelong’s voice.


Cross-team collaboration: Work efficiently with the various programs teams to become an expert on Lifelong’s programmatic work.


Events: Manage event promotion to help drive awareness and increase number of fundraising event attendees.


Intern supervising. Manage Development Communication interns.


Organizational Responsibilities:


Builds awareness of Lifelong’s programs within the community. Attends individual supervisions, team meetings and all-staff meetings. Upholds professional boundaries, professional ethics and strict confidentiality protocol. Maintains regular and reliable hours as negotiated with your supervisor. Works for the inclusion and celebration of a diverse working environment and clientele.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or relevant field; and two years of relevant experience
  • Non-profit experience a plus, but not required
  • Exceptional written, oral and electronic communication skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven record of translating complex ideas into digestible content.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment, balance multiple competing priorities, and operate on short timelines.
  • Demonstrated success managing projects & providing deliverables on schedule
  • Experience with web design and maintenance and proficiency in metrics/analytics programs (i.e. Google Analytics, media monitoring systems, etc.).
  • managing online campaigns for a nonprofit or advocacy organization, or equivalent
  • Practices excellent time management
