We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Austin, TX and support Gila Corporation .
The Human Resources Generalist contributes to a business area's performance by performing assigned HR responsibilities in areas of people strategies, organization development, and other Human Resources specific or business initiatives for a defined business or operational area. By actively driving programs and processes, the Human Resources Generalist contributes significantly to our business objectives. The Human Resources Generalist will also have responsibility for the completion of special projects and reporting functions as needed.
Human Resource Processing
Executing tasks and initiatives aligned with the HR strategy and operations within a business area.
Gains and provides feedback to Business Partner organization on HR programs and initiatives.
Monitors progress against metrics and milestones.
Supports the Business Partners by preparing materials related to HR initiatives and consulting tools.
Enhance HR by integrating established best practices & by developing strong working relationships with other HR team members.
Assist with the development and evaluation of HR metrics and make recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness.
Completes research and statistical information to prepare and analyze the information for use in implementation of new processes and HR initiatives.
Administer a variety of HR programs including employee onboarding
Assist with the development of written materials for the purposes of documenting activities, programs, process or employment related communications.
Assist with implementation of processes and experiences that grow the capacity of the organization's key people resources which include key talent identification, planning, development, and recruitment.
Supports the Business Partner organization in gathering, editing and preparing materials for talent review/succession planning and management development programs as needed.
Gathers data and prepares information for the Business Partner organization to optimize the business -- people, work, location, organization structure.
Assist with the development of a strategic staffing plan in conjunction with the businesses' overall strategic workforce plan
Special Projects and Analyses
Participates on multiple projects assigned by HR Leaders within the assigned Business area or Operational area.
Assists HR Business Partners to develop communications around business changes as well as HR process and procedural changes.

Identifies, through elements of the work environment, ideas to increase productivity, employee performance, and employee satisfaction Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
3 - 5 years of experience in the Human Resources Field
Knowledge of Federal and State labor legislation and regulations
Knowledge of the principles and practices of Human Resource procedures
Proven ability to participate with and influence key team members
Excellent oral and written skills
Proven ability to support human resource strategies and plans in support of the business goals
Effective partnering skills
Effective business and financial acumen skills
PHR / SPHR Certification
Experience with all Human Resources functional areas with strong emphasis in organization development/effectiveness and leadership development
