Our Hololens/Analog team works on Computer Vision and Machine Learning to augment humans in Mixed Reality. As an Intern in Hololens Applied R&D you will work alongside passionate and talented scientists and engineers who are working to innovate and build groundbreaking technologies and products for human augmentation through Mixed Reality. Interns put inquiry and theory into practice. Interns not only advance their own careers, but they also contribute to exciting research and development strides. During the 12-week internship, students are paired with mentors and expected to collaborate with other interns and researchers, present findings, and contribute to the vibrant life of the community. As an Intern with Hololens you will have the opportunity to leave your mark through experiments and prototypes for the rapidly evolving landscape of Augmented and Mixed Reality.
Must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science with specialization in Computer Vision, Visual Learning, Optimization of Vision Algorithms for Real-time Platforms.
Must have at least 1-2 years of experience with 3D Vision algorithms especially real-time implementations, adaptations and platform-specific knowledge and practice.
Evidence of programming in C/C++/Python.
Demonstrated ability to develop original research agendas.
Must be able to collaborate effectively with other researchers and product development teams.
Ability to think unconventionally to derive creative and innovative solutions.
