Herb + Ōhm is Chicago’s leading wellness center for integrative healthcare. Our commitment to patient care is unsurpassed and we are looking to add a new team member to our front desk team of patient coordinators. Our clinic is located in the Loop at the corner of Wells and Randolph Street. You will be assisting in providing coordinated care for patients by administering an organized and welcoming front of clinic presence, while working with a supportive and close-knit team.

You are a mature-minded, clear and concise communicator with a warm, empathetic and friendly demeanor. As first point of contact to the clinic, you make the most memorable impression! We are seeking:

  • An efficient and dependable 'people person' with 2+ years' experience as a patient coordinator/ similar.
  • Ability to handle phone inquiries and scheduling of appointments, processing of payments, e.g. credit card payments
  • A desire to grow within a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain daily administrative/office procedures
  • Ability/willingness to learn computer scheduling software
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality
  • Alignment with the clinic's core values
  • Experience in the health and wellness field is an asset.

Anticipated start date: February 2018

Hours (16 hours to start, with ability to grow into full-time 40 hours, schedule below may change based on practitioner's schedules):

Wednesday: 11:30am-8pm (patients arrive at 12pm, last patient ends at 8pm, 30 minute lunch break)

Friday: 11:30am-8pm (patients arrive at 12pm, last patient ends at 8pm, 30 minute lunch break)

Associate will clock in using Mindbody software when arriving and clock out when leaving including clocking in and out for lunch. Compensation will be based on total hours clocked for the week and payment will be made on a bimonthly basis.

Estimated total hours per week: 16 hours with ability to grow to full-time 40 hours
