This will be a shared position with Systems and Industrial Engineering (SIE). The selected candidate will teach the one-unit course MNE/SIE 503- technical leadership in engineering. Topics in the course should include Leaders vs Managers, Leadership Attributes, Relationship Building, Leading and Managing Change, Building a Team, Ethics, Systems Approach to Leading & Managing.

- Teaching one hour per week; preparation
for classes and exams, grading and out of
class student interaction;
- Instructor should be able to utilize the
online course management system, D2L,
for course materials, recorded lectures,
class announcements, assignments drop
box, and other aspects of the course;
- Instructor needs to use modern teaching
techniques and respect student diversity,
inclusion, and special needs.
- Ph.D. in a relevant engineering discipline such
as mining engineering or related discipline;
- Experience in teaching and using modern
teaching technologies such as an online
course management system such as D2L.
- Prior teaching experience in a university or
