Positive Behavior Supports Corp. is looking for Registered Behavior Technicians to work directly with individuals with autism to implement behavior programs and train family members. PBS Corp. is an agency serving individuals in Hawaii, California, Texas, Florida, Kansas, Oregon, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, Washington and Canada with disabilities and behavioral challenges. We specialize in autism spectrum disorder-ASD., skill delays, and behavioral challenges. PBS Corp.'s services are designed to meet the unique needs of the individuals to help them function effectively in home, school, and community environments.
As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will be working 1-on-1 with children, adolescents, or adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Registered Behavior Technicians track Antecedent-Behavior-Consequence data, provide support and training in a variety of settings including in homes, schools, and community locations (e.g., stores, shopping malls, parks). RBT's are responsible for implementing the behavior plan under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. PBS Corp. focuses on creating system wide changes to benefit our clients and create success across many environments, involving the many different individuals in the client's life. We believe that this positive change results from an integral approach involving the individual as a whole. We serve those ranging in age from 18 months through adults.
Work times vary depending on the age and needs of the client. Typically, services are provided in the afternoons, evenings, and occasionally on weekends. Flexible schedules are available making this an ideal supplementary position for people currently employed as Paraprofessionals, Teachers, Students, and/or Parents with the requisite experience. We are looking for those individuals with at least a bachelor's degree or near completion of a bachelor's degree.
The RBT training consists of 40 hours of instruction and the completion of competency-based tests. The cost for the training is $99.00 and has been divided into 6 modules at $16.50 each. This is self-paced and required by the BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board) to sit for your RBT exam. This is also an internationally recognized credential with an annual renewal to remain compliant and active with BACB standards.

RBT's are responsible for implementing the behavior plan and modeling to caregivers how to implement the plan. PBS Corp. focuses on creating system wide changes to benefit our clients and create success across many environments, involving the many different individuals in the client's life. We believe that this positive change results from an integral approach involving the individual as a whole. We serve those ranging in age from 18 months through adults.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have a High School Diploma or higher
- Must have been a para professional or similar experience with individuals with disabilities
- Must have Registered Behavior Technician certification or wanting to become an RBT
- RBT’S will be hourly paid non-exempt employees. Hourly pay will range between $14.00 and $18.00 per hour. Students Enrolled in Applied Behavior Analysis programs and who are providing services will be compensated at $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.
- Drive time in between clients and staff meetings are paid at a different rate.
Quarterly Bonus Program:
The possible extra $2000.00 per year incentive is an excellent addition to our growing new employee benefits available in 2019.
This $500.00 quarterly bonus will be made to workers via direct deposit. and it can be utilized for any expense. This program is a pay for performance model that will reward each contractor, based off the number of hours serving our families that you entered the previous quarter. You must exceed 20 hours or more a week for direct ABA services calculated each quarter.
Eligibility for Quarterly Bonus for RBTs:
- To be eligible for this incentive, you must be an active RBT with PBS Corp., be up to date with all your client files and HR paperwork, and have been actively working (Billed for clients)
- If at any time you resign or are released from working with PBS Corp, your next bonus pay will be forfeited.
