Document Control Specialist will store, manage and track company documents, adhering to the company’s document lifecycle procedures. Archive inactive records in accordance with the records retention schedule, and control the retrieval of documents including drawings, specifications, approvals and related items. Responsible for training employees on records management procedures and policies, which include documentation, retention, retrieval, destruction and disaster recovery.
- Type at least 40 wpm
- Strong computer skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computer, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Fast paced, and constant interactions with production personnel.
This position would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
No travel is expected for this position.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Must have ability to prioritize, manage time well, multitask and troubleshoot. Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills are also essential.
