Records Management Warehouse Clerk Jobs Vacancy in Health Human Services Comm Austin Jobs Details:
EJF 1. Review and Inventory of Records Storage Boxes (30%) - Reviews boxes of agency records to update box-level inventory lists. Verifies correct labeling of boxes prior to submission for storage. Repeatedly lifts and carries boxes of records weighing up to 50 lbs. May train temporary employees in the labeling and review of records storage boxes. EJF 2. Shipping and Receiving of Records Storage Boxes (25%) - Works in coordination with the Records Management Warehouse Lead to track incoming boxes from regional offices for storage. Verifies data from boxes received against tracking systems. Arranges for scheduling of shipping and receiving of records storage boxes to/from storage vendors. Reconciles discrepancies and reports issues to the Records Management Officer. Processes outgoing shipments of records and receives incoming shipments of files returning to storage. Logs incoming and outgoing materials. EJF 3. Maintains flow of boxes in and out of warehouse facility (20%) Operates pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment to move inventory within the warehouse and assist vendors with picking up shipments. Wraps pallets in plastic wrap to secure boxes of records for transport EJF 4. Data Entry in Records Tracking Systems (10%) - Edits information in internal and vendor-owned records storage tracking systems. Reviews data entry completed by program staff submitting records for storage. EJF 5. Other Duties as Assigned (15%) - May assist with special records management projects as needed.
Knowledge of office procedures; of spelling, punctuation, grammar, and arithmetic; of business or program terminology, methods, and procedures; of warehousing procedures; and of records administration and maintenance techniques and procedures. Skill in the use of a computer and office equipment. Ability to prepare and maintain records, files, and reports; to transfer records from one location to another; to make arithmetic computations; to communicate effectively with vendors and internal staff; to use pallet jacks and forklifts; to repeatedly lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.; and to train others
Valid driver's license.
1 year experience in a warehouse environment. Experience with HHS Programs preferred. Ability to operate fork lift and pallet jack.
