The Kansas Department for Children and Families Services (DCF)
currently has a Human Services Assistant position in the Economic and Employment Services division located in our Kansas City, Kansas Service Center. The salary for this position is $25,688/annually.
JOB SUMMARY: This position provides support by assisting applicants in gathering and collecting information necessary to apply for or continue participation in agency programs; verifies information presented by applicants and providers; obtains collateral information necessary to assure comprehensive case histories. Performs receptionist duties as backup to main receptionist, answers and transfers telephone calls, enters information into agency systems. Prepares file folders, processes mail, and provides excellent customer service to all staff and clients.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent.
PREFERRED CRITERIA : Previous Administrative Assistant experience. Computer Skills/data entry Telephone etiquette and working with the public
