We are seeking a motivated and dynamic industrial salesperson to join Asahi/America’s growing Business Development team
Business Development Manager – High Purity Products – East & Central Regions
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic industrial salesperson to join Asahi/America’s growing Business Development Team. The Business Development Manager is responsible for technical sales and the penetration of new markets, target customers, and OEM accounts. This position requires strategic interaction with both our district sales managers and our corporate technical team, in order to grow sales and capture new accounts. As a technical product expert, this individual will frequently conduct sales presentations and product trainings to customer groups. Additional responsibilities involve strategic market analysis, certain supplier negotiations, and new product development initiatives. The geographical territory includes the Eastern and Central regions focusing on high purity piping and wet process flow control products. This role will target new and existing high tech customers in the semiconductor, solar, pharmaceutical, bio-tech and chemical process markets.
- Minimum of 5 years industrial product or commercial plumbing sales experience.
- Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing) or 5+ years professional technical experience with industrial or commercial products
- Experience with plastic valves and piping systems is a plus.
- Position will be remotely based in the eastern or central region.
- Ability to domestically travel 75% of the time in the eastern and central region
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. for product demonstrations.
