Project Financial Analyst (Level 1)
Acts as a primary internal financial contact for either Customer or Supplier-related financial activities related to a Project. Supports more senior Project Financial Analysts and the Project Finance Manager in gathering data, creating reports, preparing documentation and other finance-related activities.
Work alongside Project Managers (PM) in support of managing the financial elements of the project(s), including customer OR supplier invoicing, milestone payments, financial securities documentation, and accurate and timely entry of information into financial reporting systems to support accurate cashflows for the Project(s). Collaborate with other internal departments/functions (including Projects, Procurement, Quality, Accounting) and external suppliers or financial institutions to ensure timely and accurate information and action taken to support Project financials. Prepare and manage project specific deliverables related to financial contract and PO requirements (such as invoicing, supporting back-up data, bonds, etc.) Monitor A/R or A/P for project(s) and notify the PM of outstanding invoices. Works in close coordination with PMs, Controller and AR/AP to ensure current cashflows are accurate.
Sales Support: Support the Project Finance manager in working with the Sales team during Contract negotiations by learning the financial aspects of potential contracts. This may include learning to analyze and interpret contract financial requirements (including invoicing and financial securities requirements, e.g. Bonds, LCs, Bank Guarantees) and participating in meetings and conference calls between Finance, Sales and external financial institutions to support timely contract Project negotiations and awards.

Ensures compliance with all relevant N/E procedures and contract requirements. Coordinates with internal customers and external suppliers to fulfill contract requirements and reconcile contract issues.

Manage the Customer or Supplier Invoice process (including understanding when an invoice milestone is expected and proactively gathering and preparing documents to submit invoices, resolving related issues, and communicating payment status internally)

Bachelors degree in Finance, Business or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1-year experience in Finance, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Risk Management, or Contract Management or 3 years’ related work experience.
