In addition to regularly assigned duties the person selected for this position will be expected to participate on process improvement teams and offer productive feedback. This is a professional position that provides inventory management, data entry and reporting services within the Bureau of Enforcement, Division of Medical Quality Assurance. This position performs independent work managing the equipment inventory for the Investigative Services Unit. This position will work on special projects involving data integrity, marketing, and performance improvement. Additionally, this position will
support the administrative staff in the office as needed. This position requires independent thinking, detailed analysis, and use of professional judgment in every aspect of performing the below duties.
- Manages equipment inventory for Investigative Services.
- Works with IT and the field offices to troubleshoot equipment issue.
- Conduct data entry tasks as assigned.
- Collates and compiles data for special projects.
- Compile and distribute routine reports to management in a timely manner.
- Maintains the confidentiality of information per Florida Statutes and DOH policy.
- Provides customer service to the general public and answers questions received via e-mail, the internet, and telephone.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficient in computer skills; knowledge of computer data bases, to include Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality; pass a thorough background investigation; make sound judgments; develop reports; conduct research; and conduct Data Analysis and Statistical Reporting. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Skills in problem solving; critical thinking; customer service; and analytical skills.
