Student Assistant English Department Nyc Fall Jobs Vacancy in Pace University New York Jobs Details:
The Student Assistant will provide administrative support to the department.
General clerical duties requiring PC skills (i.e) typing, inputting data, filing, photocopy, answer telephones and in-person inquiries
- Greet and assist incoming visitors
- Answer a wide variety of questions related to the department’s procedures and other general questions (training will be provided)
- General clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, shredding, sending faxes and other duties as assigned
- Assist with heavy volume of phones; taking detailed messages for staff follow-up as necessary
- Perform other such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
A reliable student with good communication skills and willingness to learn. Must be responsible, timely and have initiative. Must be able to work with an additional student aide.
Exact schedule to be determined with supervisor; no more than 20 hours per week when school is in session and no more than 35 hours per week during breaks
