What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Serve as advocate and liaison for XPO’s top clients to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Expand current customer accounts through on-going relationship development
  • Collaborate with team members to secure the terms of sale (negotiating rates, identifying carriers, specialized equipment)
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the industry and client needs; cultivate a core book of business for consistent and repeatable sales
  • Ensure integrity of the shipment and the XPO brand by following standard processes
  • Update internal tracking and reporting systems throughout the day for maintaining accuracy in sales and volume
  • Monitor and ensure accurate billing and seek to ensure mutually beneficial business operations

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1 year of professional experience

It’d be great if you also have:

  • 5 years of experience in a transportation sales environment
