POSITION SUMMARY

The Würth Group of North America Inc. (WUGONA) is the holding company of the 33 North American subsidiaries of the globally operating Würth Group. As such, WUGONA provides support to all North American Würth Group companies in various fields ranging from finance, treasury, tax, law to human resources and talent management.

WUGONA’s talent management department - the Würth Business Academy North America (WBA NA) - is the North American branch of the in-house corporate function for talent and organizational management. The Corporate Trainer provides on- and off-the-job education to newly hired employees as well as enhanced education to current employees and managers to ensure effective job performance and market-oriented personnel development. Furthermore, the Corporate Trainer supports and consults the North American subsidiaries in their learning and development offer by developing custom-made training programs and consultation in accordance with the overall strategy of the Würth Group and the global Würth Business Academy department in Switzerland. The Corporate Trainer reports directly to the Regional Manager of the Würth Business Academy’s North American Division at WUGONA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with the Regional Manager and executives from the subsidiaries to schedule training
  • Conducts and coordinates training programs for middle management and sales employees, but also for
  • Develops trainings in accordance to the training philosophy of the
  • Applies various teaching techniques in accordance with the globally developed
  • Works to keep training programs vibrant and entertaining in order to engage
  • Ensures that all training materials and programs are compliant with laws and regulations governing the
  • Provides online and conference call training
  • Interacts with managers and executives to determine the training and development
  • Prepares training materials and presentations for employees and with the approval of the Regional Manager.
  • Creates monitoring strategies and KPIs to ensure the transfer of training
  • Evaluates training performance and prepares recommended development

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • B.S./B.A. Degree in Business, Behavioral Sciences, or equivalent related field
  • Minimum 5 + years of Learning & Development experience required
  • Certification in Training a plus
  • Proven Training and Facilitation experience in regards to various topics and different target groups
  • Sales or sales-related experience preferred

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Fluency in German, French or Spanish, a plus
  • High standard of professionalism and ethics
  • Preferred style of teamwork, collaboration, and humility
  • Ability to convincingly facilitate and lead trainings
  • Facilitation skills to apply several different training methods and approaches
  • Must be a compelling public speaker
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Great Time Management Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and with written communications.
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Travel estimated at 40-50%

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 /year
