Administrative Assistant Shipping And Logistics Jobs Vacancy in Houseware Company New York Jobs Details:

Administrative assistant Houseware Manufacturer-Start Immediately

Provide operational and administrative support to the General Manager / Owner
Writing orders for new and existing product with overseas factories

Updating the inventory system.

Manage inventory
Generate new SKU for new styles.

Maintain accurate shipping schedule by monitoring overseas production schedules progress and revising as necessary
Prepare inbound shipments for receiving and coordinating with warehouse

Process Purchase orders with the warehouse to make sure orders are shipping as scheduled
Expediting purchase orders to suppliers and keeping track of due dates, shipping information, and communication changes to the salesperson whose order may be affected by any changes.
Coordinating all shipping, packaging, and labeling guidelines and instructions with overseas factories.
Work with Designer team for Custom orders and order spec sheets

Ideal Candidate:

Experience with Import/Export documents a plus

Proficiency with QUICKBOOKS, MICROSOFT EXCEL, Microsoft Office
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent organizational skills including ability to successfully manage and coordinate multiple assigned projects
Quick learner, detail-oriented and self-starter who has the ability to work independently or within a team environment.

Must be highly organized, good with numbers and analytical thought, high level of attention to detail
Experience with container shipments / logistics is a plus.
A detail-oriented, organized, and self-starting individual

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year
