Mail Clerk Part Time Jobs Vacancy in Muhlenberg College Allentown Jobs Details:
Part-time Mail Clerk position, schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.; Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - noon during the academic year, limited summer hours as well. Responsibilities include receiving, sorting and distributing incoming, inter-office and other campus mail and delivery to mailboxes; providing window service, selling stamps and weighing parcels. Saturday responsibilities include driving to post office to pick up mail, sorting and delivering mail to students' mailboxes. Responsible and accountable for maintaining appropriate logs in a timely manner. This individual also substitutes for other mailroom staff to cover absences and vacations. Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, push cart full of mail, and navigate steps in buildings without elevators. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Prior postal experience preferred, but not required. Starting rate is $12.50 - $13.50 per hour, depending upon background and experience.
