Staff Accountant Jobs Vacancy in Abm Industries Menlo Park Jobs Details:
Applies principles of accounting to develop, analyze and
interpret financial information in order to appraise
operating results in terms of profitability, performance
against financial targets and other matters relating to
financial soundness, accuracy and integrity.
Review P&L’s during close and work with operation’s
teams to answer or resolve them.
Prepare and/or enter journal entries from source
documents. Maintain source document backup files.
Prepare or assist in labor and payroll tax smoothing
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations (e.g.
pension, H&W, AP, Bonus, depreciation, etc.)
Prepare budget to actual variance reports on a monthly
Resolve issues with various departments such as Accounts
Payable, Collections and Field Administration.
Maintain various account balances schedules (deferred
revenue, equipment sales, etc).
Prepare SOX reconciliations and documents (e.g. Revenue
recognition, controlled payouts, journal entry review).
Comply with SOX requirements.
Assist with internal, external and SOX audits.
Assist with the annual inventory process.

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
0 to 3 years of general accounting experience, which
could include payroll processing, billing, AR, AP or
Proficiency working with common business software, such
as Excel and Word.
JD Edwards general ledger system experience a plus.
